Came across this article on various helpful uses for baking soda. Some I already heard of, but a few were new to me, so thought I’d share the ‘wealth’.
Like this one:
To remove tape residue, mix baking soda with some water to make a thick paste. Rub the paste onto the gunk on your windows (or wherever) and then wipe it off.
And this one:
Keep an open box of baking soda any place you want to keep moisture out of–such as places where you store clothing, tools, electronic stuff, etc.
An oldie but goodie:
Occasionally, pour a cup of baking soda down your drains, followed by a cup of vinegar to keep your drains free of build-up. (I usually end this cocktail with some hot water.)
Other ‘recipes’ are mentioned in the article, so check it out: “Really? You Can do That With Baking Soda?”
I love stuff like this! Anyone else have homemade problem solvers to share?
Send me a cup of java!Where does it all come from?!
I do laundry three to four times a week. When are they going to invent the washer and dryer that do it all??
Send me a cup of java!I’ve always liked the idea of the family tradition. With the Holidays fast approaching, it’s been on mind more. I’d love to hear about yours!
Since my first child was born, each year I would either purchase or make an ornament for them for the Christmas tree. The original idea was to give each child their set of ornaments when they moved out. Now I’m not so sure I could part with all those memories!
