All of my final grades for the spring semester have been posted, and I am quite pleased with my accomplishments! I came very close to a ‘perfect’ semester, but a 3.94 grade point average isn’t too shabby! So, after one full year at Kean University, my overall GPA is 3.85. One more year to go!

My final grades for the spring 2013 semester at Kean University.

A professor is someone who talks in someone else’s sleep.

Three good professors out of five isn’t too bad, right? And, really, the two not-so-great ones aren’t that bad; I’ve had much worse!

The professor for my online psychology class won’t respond to emails. Which is frustrating. On two different quizzes, I am 99.9% certain that one question on each were incorrectly marked  wrong. If those quizzes were fixed, I would have 100% on both of them (I have 100s on the other four quizzes), so this is important to me. I emailed him, asking for clarification. No response. I did mention this is an online class, right?

The second professor at the bottom of my list is mostly just really boring. She seems very young (but, at my ripe old age of “29″ [ahem], a lot of people do), and probably hasn’t quite found her groove yet. Most classes consist of copying LOTS of notes from her LONG PowerPoint slides. So far, she has been beating us over the head lecturing almost exclusively on using APA formatting in our writing. It feels more like an English class than a psychology class. I will survive. As I said, I’ve dealt with much worse.

Fortunately, I do have three professors who are interesting and helpful, and they definitely help to balance any negative effects of the others.
