Tim & I have a ‘thing’ for numbers–especially patterns of numbers. 12:34 (1, 2, 3, 4) is one of our favorites. 11:11 is another. Anyone else share this love of numbers?

I enjoyed your post!

One of the best cotton varieties farmers have ever planted was 555. Right after we started selling that seed, I was in Vegas…. won a couple hundred bucks on a 555 machine so it has definitely stuck!

That’s so neat! It also just so happens that 5 is my favorite number!

I seem to always catch the clock at both 11:11s. It’s become a habit of mine, when I do catch them, to close my eyes and try to clear my mind, if only for a minute. It kind of re-centers me. Silly maybe, but it works!

I don’t think it’s silly at all! It’s good to have moments that remind you to breathe and just be!

that is so cute, I love making wishes with my kiddos when we see the clock in order like that lol
Thank you for hosting a linky, I have one as well, if you’d like to stop by, and there is also a link for a giveaway link-up

I don’t necessarily have a fascination with patterns or numbers but I try to avoid the number 6 at all costs.
February 20th, 2013 at 2:20 AM
I do have a similar fascination with numbers… mine includes the slightly OCD tendency to add them all up and see what number I get, then add those together so I have a single digit. I do it without even thinking… crazy, right?

Oh yes, I know what you mean. My husband and I like the number 21:29 for some reason. Actually, he started liking this number years ago, he told me he’d look at the time at night and it would almost always be on this time. Now the same thing happens to me on some nights. Weird.

I don’t really have a thing for numbers but the number 5 seems to be quite significant in my life.

Just last night I unplugged a very similar device. It just went off – grrrh! (I guess the cleaning lady touched a certain button by accident – LOL)

@Lily: My pleasure! I am on the way over to your blog right now!
@Terra: That’s interesting that you don’t like #6. Wishing you no 6s today!
@Heather: I don’t think it’s crazy at all! I often add the numbers too!
@Melanie: It’s nice to know I’m in good company!
@Veronica: The number 5 is my favorite number! I’m not really sure why. But, it kind of became a permanent thing when Tim and I met on the 5th of August, 2006.
@Claudia: One of the worst sounds of all time is the loud, nasty noise that an alarm clock makes! LOL! My alarm clock keeps gaining time, and it’s self-setting! Drives me crazy! LOL!

I don’t have a fascination of numbers, but sometimes I do associate them like when I see that it is 7:11 I think of the store, and when I see 9:11 I think of the worst day in history. That kind of thing.
