Thank You

For all of the love, support and encouragement everyone has given me during this exciting, yet trying, time of my life.  The blog world is certainly one special place, and I am blessed to be a part of it (even when I’m inactive)!

Happy Autumnal Equinox!  I am sad to see summer come to an end though…  Shorts and sandals are my thing, and I will not enjoy packing them away soon!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

That’s right! I scored a 91% on my math test! Woohoo!

Busy

It feels like forever since I’ve posted!  I’ve been so busy with school (homework), that I seem to have very little time to do anything else!

I’m enjoying the experience of attending college, though I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed at times.  I’ve begun wishing I’d only taken four classes rather than five.

Tonight is my first test of the semester.  In math.  Surprisingly, I’m feeling fairly confident about it.  I’ll let ya know how it goes!

I miss my bloggy family, and I hope to be more involved with you all again soon!

School Days

While I’m sad to see summer come to an end, I am very excited about starting school on Wednesday!

I’ve got everything ready to go, from my financial aid (thank goodness!) to my notebooks and pens.

Nervous doesn’t accurately explain what I feel. I know once I’m there that I’ll be fine. I just have to stay calm enough to reach that point!

The kids are not as optimistic as I am about going back to school. (Although I think “B” is more excited than she is willing to admit.)

While we’re on the subject of back to school, I was recently made aware of The Community FoodBank of New Jersey’s BackPack Program. There are many children that rely on the free and reduced lunch programs at school, but do not have enough food to eat at home on the weekends. The BackPack Program provides backpacks full of food to those children who have the potential to go hungry over the weekend. To make a donation to this important cause, visit their website or donation page.

I wish everyone a safe and smooth transition into their school days!
