Tomorrow (Monday) is a big day for me. I’m going to take my placement test for college.
I know I’m going to screw up big-time on the math portion. For one thing, math and I never got along all that well. Sure, I can add and subtract (especially when we’re talking about percent-off sales!), but beyond that, my head tends to start hurting! Also, it’s been a long, freaking time since I did any ‘real’ math. I graduated from high school 22 years ago! Ugh.
The worst that can happen is I’ll score poorly on the test and be forced required to take a refresher course (or two), that will cost money and won’t give me any credits.
Then again, the best thing that could happen is a miracle, and I’ll somehow squeak by on the low-end of passing!
In any case, wish me luck! I’ll let you all know how it goes!

i consider myself good with math.. i mean I can learn pretty quick but when I took my TSI test so I can go back to school.. i didn’t pass my math.. i only need 4 more points to pass it. But because it’s been a while since I was in school and most of the questions are basically something that are not basic, then I didn’t make it.. so I have to take a refresher class… should have done the express class because it wasn’t too bad..both got an A on the 2 refresher class..
so don’t give yourself too much beating…
you’re going to make it just get plenty of studying..

Good luck hun!! I was never a good math student…always in the dummy classes and I finally graduated highschool by taking Accounting and Computer Science as my math alternative credits
Oh well…now we have cellphone with calculators and that’s all I need!
