It’s been six months now since I filed for divorce & I’m still waiting for it to be over with. My soon-to-be (I say optimistically) ex-husband has been less than cooperative & my resources have dried up. As much as I want the marriage to be officially ended, without an attorney, I know I will walk away with far less than I’m entitled to after being married for over 20 years.
It’s obviously come to the point where I need to decide which is more important:
-being divorced & settling for whatever a judge decides I deserve -or-
-continue delaying the process until I can afford to hire an attorney to represent me & hope that it is
worth it in the end.
